PRIVACY POLICY

About this policy

Anu Sushi LLC ("Anu Sushi," "we," "us") is a wholesale supplier and franchisor of ready-to-eat sushi. We sell to institutional and retail partners — hospitals, universities, corporate dining programs and the foodservice operators who serve them. We do not sell to the public through this website.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.anusushi.com, how we use it, and what choices you have. It covers the website and the business contacts we deal with in the ordinary course of our work.

Who we are and how to reach us

What we collect

Almost everything we collect, you give us on purpose. There are three ways that happens.

When you contact us

If you fill in a form or email us about working with Anu Sushi, we collect what you send — typically your name, your company, your email address, your phone number, and whatever you tell us about what you are looking for.

When you apply for a job

If you send us a resume, we collect what is in it: your contact details, your work history, your education, and anything else you choose to include.

When you visit the site

Our website host and our analytics tools automatically record basic technical information about your visit. That includes your IP address, the type of device and browser you used, which pages you looked at, when you visited, and the site you came from. This information tells us how the site is being used. It is not used to identify you personally.

What we do not collect

We think it is worth being clear about this.
•    We do not sell products through this website, so we do not collect payment card or bank information from site visitors.
•    We do not have customer accounts or logins on this site.
•    We do not collect health information, and we do not ask site visitors for dietary or allergy information.
•    We do not build advertising profiles about you, and we do not buy information about you from outside data brokers.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to:
•    respond to your inquiry and talk with you about a possible working relationship
•    manage our relationship with partners, franchisees and suppliers
•    review job applications
•    send you email you have asked to receive
•    understand how our website is used, and improve it
•    meet our legal, tax and food safety recordkeeping obligations
We will not send you marketing email unless you have asked us to. If you have, every message includes a way to stop, and you can also just email us and ask.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We do share it with a small number of companies that run parts of our business for us — our website host, our email and analytics tools, and similar service providers. They are only allowed to use the information to do the work we hired them for.
We will also share information where the law requires it, or where we need to in order to protect our rights, our people, or the safety of our products.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others help us see which pages people visit and how the site performs — we use Google Analytics for this.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies. Parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and business contact information for as long as we are working together, and for a reasonable period afterward in case the conversation picks back up.
We keep job applications for up to one year, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.
Where a law or a food safety requirement tells us to keep a record for a set period, we keep it for that period.

Your choices

You can email us at hello@anusushi.com to:
•    ask what personal information we hold about you
•    ask us to correct anything that is wrong
•    ask us to delete it
•    stop receiving marketing email from us
We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state or national privacy law — tell us in your message and we will honor them.

Children

This website is meant for business use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to the people who need it. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Other websites

Our site links to other websites, including our social media pages. We do not control how those sites handle your information. Their privacy policies apply, not ours.

If our business changes hands

If Anu Sushi is sold, merged, or reorganized, information we hold may transfer with the part of the business it relates to. Whoever receives it may only use it for the purposes described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. We encourage you to check back occasionally.

Questions or concerns
