Anu Sushi was founded in 2018 by refugee entrepreneurs with a simple but ambitious goal: to build a sushi brand that creates opportunity beyond the meal — for the independent operators who run it and the communities it supports.

Anu Sushi is a certified minority-owned franchisor. We develop the brand, recipes, standards, and food-safety systems that our independent franchisees use to prepare and deliver thoughtfully prepared sushi for retail and foodservice clients. From sourcing standards to food-safety protocols, we give our franchisees the tools to do the work well, every time.

From the beginning, Anu was also designed as a social enterprise. A portion of our business supports long-term programs to help children build more stable futures through education, nutrition and care. This commitment is built into how we operate - not treated as an add-on.
