ANU SUSHI will be EXPANDING INTO DETROIT!
Anu Sushi, Grand Rapids provider of always yummy and always healthy sushi, today announced plans to expand its service into Detroit. The company plans to open a production kitchen in Novi by December 2020. The Novi location will operate as a wholesale provider of grab-and-go sushi to universities, hospital and corporate cafeterias and will also serve retail customers using delivery services.
Serving others Locally and Globally
Company founder Bawi Lian said the company is excited to expand into the east side of the state of Michigan. “I am so thankful for what we’ve been able to accomplish in Grand Rapids. We have provided good jobs to the Burmese refugee community, helped build orphanages in Burma, and most importantly, our customers love our sushi! I believe our expansion into Detroit will allow us to accomplish our mission in even bigger ways.”
Sam Mathew, Anu Sushi Area Manager for Detroit, said the company invites new retail partnerships in the Detroit area. “This is a great opportunity for Detroit organizations and companies of all shapes and sizes to participate in something truly unique and wonderful. Our partners offer our great-tasting sushi while doing something good for the local refugee community as well as the underserved on the other side of the world.” Mathew explained that for each box of sushi sold, the company donates a meal to an orphan. The company delivers the product fresh every day and takes back any product that is not sold, guaranteeing an always premium sushi experience in the convenience of grab-and-go.
